Wez Woodward - Lead Guitar

Wez was genetically created in a lab in Barking and drip fed
Guns N Roses from a young age, with Appetite For Destruction remaining his favourite album of all time to date.

He learned guitar at the age of fourteen and by the time he'd mastered all songs from Use Your Illusion I and II, he was tattooed and sent off to the Musician's Institute in Los Angeles to complete his training.

Whilst in LA, Wez taught the Californian's how to drink like an English pagan and slept his way through a high percentage of the Beverly Hills female contingent. Once back home in Dagenham, he spent time in a covers band, before joining heavy rock/metal outfit Grinding Crisis with now Retrofin drummer
Dave Cawthorne.

After hearing a live recording of Retrofin and hearing they were looking to replace their lead guitarist, who was moving to Ireland, Wez joined up like a good soldier and brought his own style to the band, influencing the sound by bringing in a heavier edge to the songs.

The best thing about being in Retrofin, according to Wez, are the crazy live shows, where anything can happen and the trips to the nearest Subway afterwards...
